We have experienced our share of storms lately, and I am sure there are more to come. Sounds little like life, doesn’t it?
I came across a thought on the storms we face. A retired pastor heard a TV preacher say that if we have enough faith we could fly above life’s storms like eagles. The idea didn’t sit just right with him. Living in Alaska he had observed the habits of eagles. The reality is when the storm comes eagles go the forest, find a tree and hide. They are not trying to fly above it, but going through it.
“The best way to go through a storm is to go through it.” That is what he heard from a different source. His conclusion, “We should meet our troubles and trials with our face, feet, and faith forward.”
How are you handling your storms?
