In a couple of weeks spring will begin. Springtime reminds me of new beginnings. The trees begin budding, and their colors will be bright and new. One of my favorite times is when the Redbuds bloom.
The Sunday will come when we celebrate our Lord's resurrection. That speaks of hope and newness of life.
Then for many school students there is spring break. A time to get relief from studies and be able to get out of the norm of the routine of class, books, and of course tests. Maybe get a chance to visit the ocean in a warmer climate, be refreshed.
We all need refreshing. Someone said, "If you don't come apart will you come apart." Is it time to take a break from the norm? Come apart, or turn aside to be refreshed? What greater place to be refreshed than in the presence of the Savior?
I Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your cares on Him for He cares for you." Think about it.
